Hi,
Thank you for nodding to read my thoughts!
During this delicate phase of life, where every youthful divine human, irrespective of age, is embracing the life, the way it is coming by laboring hard to maintain a momentum with the pace, at which life is changing its chapters, I decided to share some thoughts which might pause you for a couple of minutes to resonate with me. This might lend me a chance to express myself, eventually giving you some time to rest and ponder over what I am sharing.
In the initial and introductory piece, I just want to reflect over a couple of points instead of diving into academic or deep philosophical topics. 2024 was nothing less than a velocity, an amalgamation of fortunes and unwanted pop ups, in general for everyone. What is worth a million laurels is the Consistency that we all maintained over our actions despite of pain in hands, stress in mind and cuts over body. (What a bold and serene heroic move is this!!) Just as the learning from Julius Caesar goes, ‘’Cowards die many times before their deaths; the valiant never taste of death but once’’, our fight definitely has a zestful outlook.
Whenever, I complained of not having ‘a better’, an upgraded version of anything, I always remember a profound and explanatory statement once spoken by my school’s learned Principal, Mr. Bhalla- ‘Learn to rule the hell rather than being ruled in heaven.’ (a rephrased version of ‘better to rule in Hell than serve in Heaven’ from John Milton’s poem – Paradise Lost’) which always encourages me to attain the satisfaction from what I have and embrace my current situation rather than taking the blatant effort to pacify my never ending appetite of having a little more (not saying we should not be working towards betterment, mind you!). Who knows if the current elements in hand are comparatively, the blessings? RULE THEM!! This has acted as a major push factor to allow me to stand and savor the essence of unlayered life, in mid of the crowd who is running behind materialistic consumerism.
Just a couple of points (as I promised earlier) which I follow-
1- Consistency is important (doesn’t matter if it’s of tortoise speed or exponential!)
2- Satisfaction with what I have rather than the complaint of what I don’t, is the golden rule for peaceful life (hunger for cerebral growth, being an exception!)
May Almighty tremendously bless and energize all of us to fight the battles over our respective war fields and we emerge as a wholesome winner.
Looking forward to writing about my observations, learnings, doings, routine, falls and other intangible things.
(Hopefully I shall write on a peaceful lighthearted topic after this opening fire doze, haha!!)
Until next time I write,
Happy September End!
Key steps towards growth.
